Parzival’s mother gave him the following advice before he left her:
1. to cross streams only where most shallow.
2. to greet people with the words, “God protect you!”
3. to ask advice of those with gray hair.
4. to strive to win a good lady’s ring and then to kiss and embrace her.
The quotes on this tab and along my sidebar are advice from the gray hairs. They are bits of wisdom to be pondered. Each teaches life lessons that come with the advent of wisdom found mostly in our older brethren. We learn from our elders. We learn from the past. We must put all our trust in God to guide us to the truths of their wisdom and allow the Lord to lead us to the answers and to the questions.
